The Kindergarten/1st grade class was given the assignment, "What Christmas Means to Me."  May you all have a blessed Christmas holiday...and the faith and wonder of a child.

Concrete Graphs

Yesterday in 1st grade math we made concrete graphs using colorful plastic bears.

Our class made snowflake ornaments from old puzzles that were missing pieces.  They add quite the ambiance to our classroom.  The kids loved the idea of using old things to create something beautiful and new (and easy on the art budget). 

We are so Thankful!

Our class was given the assignment, "What are you thankful for?" shortly before Thanksgiving.  As you can see, we have some very thoughtful young writers in our class.
